Have you recently started receiving many pop up messages or security notifications by Control Manager? If so, you must seriously think about your computer’s protection.
Control Manager is a scam application that infects computer systems completely secretly and doesn’t require authorization of the user in order to be installed. The program uses Trojan viruses for the infiltration.
Once it gets the access to the system, Control Manager makes some modifications in the Windows Registry. The installation of Control Manger is complete when you reboot your computer. When the Windows starts, Control Manager starts running Ccagent.exe and Ccmain.exe files. Then the program runs its scanner which only imitates looking for infections. Finally, the scanner of Control Manager reports about the presence of tons of infections on your system and advices getting rid of them by purchasing a so-called full version of Control Manager.
Secondly, the program generates tons of pop ups which are displayed when you just log in to Windows, while you are running some program and no matter what you do. These messages will become very irritating as you will not be able to control them and they will disturb all your computer sessions. The purpose of such pop ups is to convince you into believing that your system is badly infected and make you purchase a commercial version of Control Manager program anyway.
You shouldn’t trust anything that Control Manager says as it’s a badware created to steal money. By no means pay for it and if you already have, please contact your bank and dispute the charges. Otherwise, you will only pay cyber criminals and make profit for them.
Remove Control Manager from your computer as soon as you notice its first traces. Trust that it is not an application to keep on your system.
